>> Julie: Good evening. I'm julie chen. Welcome to "big brother 5." It's day 49 inside the "big brother" house and the united front that voted to evict jase last week is starting to collapse. Adria, the current head of household shocked the house by putting will, the registered nurse from new york city, up for eviction. Joining will up on the block for the third time in a row is marvin, the mortician from south carolina. Of this hour is over six houseguests will cast their votes live to evict either will or marvin. If there is a tie it will be up to adria, the current H.O.H. To cast the deciding vote. But first the house is divided into two strong alliances. Diane has promised her loyalty to the twins but now finds herself questioning that decision.
>> Want to talk to me?
>> Like the reason i have been so bitter and it's been such a hard week for me is because adria looked me in the eyes and made pinky swear to me the second week we were here that she would never vote me out.
>> I would give this pledge to you, as long as i'm in this house, you will not get a vote from me.
>> Okay. I give my pinky because i can't do a handstand without that snrt house is kind of divided itself into two divisions. First division my team is myself, natalie, drew, diane and then also I've picked up cowboy and the other side of the house is nakomis, carrie and will with marvin out there on his own.
>> I think they are trying to knock out a strong player first which is you and that's why they walked around the other day saying force a tie, that's what I want. She wants to make the decision. Having adr ya be the one to break the tie, i want it to be that way simply so it will take the heat off me. I'm stuck between two alliances in the house. One being will, karen and nakomis and the other alliance is adria, her sister natalie and drew.
>> If i have to break the damn time, we'll have to verbally announce it on live tv. Okay, so...
>> Drew and i were in the H.O.H. Room with the twins. I left first. Drew was in there for like an extra 45 minutes when he told me he would be right out.
>> I don't know what it was that paranoid me so bad about drew being in the H.O.H. Room with them.
>> I'd say keep your woman in line? She's crazy.
>> I kind of think maybe they did it on purpose to keep him in there as long as they possibly could to maybe paranoy me.
>> I don't know what's going on.
>> I don't know what's right. I don't know what to believe, who to trust in this house. I'm trying to not let the paranoia get to me because it is just paranoia.
>> Late last night, like 2:00 in the morning, i walk into the kitchen and I see two people like split up, like you see cockroaches when the light comes on, split real quick. Of course, I'm going to stop and think why is natalie talking to marvin anyways if these two people hate each other and, of course, I'm going to think obviously they are strategically planning something or maybe already have. I said is that marvin?
>> She's like, we were just eating and i was like, just eating.
>> That's absolutely infewer mates -- infewerates me.
>> Listen to me. What was going on in the kitchen that night? I didn't have my contacts in. You ran like the dickens.
>> I don't even know.
>> I feel like I'm going crazy. I don't know how i feel about anybody. My heart is with them. My heart is with will and it's getting to that point where i like everybody and i think it's hurting me. I think that adria and natalie are a lot different.
>> Adria is on a power trip this week, too, as H.O.H., Too. I wasn't like that, you weren't like that when we were H.O.H..
>> I don't know if i trust -- obviously I trust drew.
>> For you to get your head out of the gut and play this game and boy if you save her again I'll kick your friggin ass.

>> Julie: And now you like to even less.
>> I second that.
>> Julie: Michael.
>> Yes, ma'am.
>> Julie: You've had a lot of different looks while living in the house.

>> Julie: What is the most useful fashion advice you have gotten from your house mates?
>> Well, you want to do a little tough one. I would have to say a lot of them like the clean shaved look and the hair up and gone.
>> Julie: And you like it as well?
>> I do. When i spike up my hair it feels like my son does that so it just feels like I'm doing that for him as well.
>> Julie: Thanks, michael.
>> Thank you.
>> Julie: Nakomis.
>> Yeah.
>> Julie: You have lived in the house for almost seven weeks now.
>> Mm-hmm.
>> Julie: What would you give for a day in the outside world?
>> I would give my right arm for a car ride, blindfolded, handcuffed and thrown in the trunk of any random car.
>> Julie: Well, nakomis, you might actually get a day outside of the "big brother" house after all. Houseguests, one of you will win a chance to leave the house and appear on an episode of the cbs daytime drama "the young and the restless." Who will it be? Who will it be? >> When you are H.O.H. Can you not predict how hard this situation would be. I thought this week would be very simple because i felt i had such a strong team behind me that regardless of my decision they would support my decision and respect that and honestly, julie, I've learned a lot this week and I've been very surprised about some. Reactions I did get.
>> Julie: Why do you think the house reacted so strongly to that decision?
>> I honestly feel that perhaps my team wasn't as strong as i thought they were, that they trusted my decision and actually believed in the support that I thought was there, and so with that that has revealed to me that their support for me would probably be not be there in the future.
>> Julie: Were you spoken -- outspoken to the house mates to the point of challenging hem to tie tonight's vote. Why?
>> Because i really feel at this point it's in the best interest for me to take this decision upon myself and it would be an honor if my house guests did choose to make the decision into a tie because i would rather take on the responsibility to be reflected as adria alone because i feel, unfortunately, natalie has gotten a lot of fair kickback off of my H.O.H. Position and i feel bad she can't play this house as an individual just like the rest of the people. I think that they have really turned and hit her with a lot of upsets.
>> Julie: After tonight you will no longer be head of household. Are you worried about being a target for eviction next week?
>> I'm always a target when I'm not H.O.H. And I've realize that had from day one. I think early on in the game with my relationship withdrew when he put me up on the block that I gained a lot of respect in that position so therefore i feel that I'm never alone and do I have my faith and I'm proud to have that and I'm really root four-game natalie because she's my only guarantee at this time 1ds thanks, adr ya, you can head back to the living room.

>> Julie: Coming up, tonight's live vote for eviction. Who will be next to exit the "big brother" house, will or mayor vin? For now let's go back to the diary room where diane, michael and nakomis give their thoughts on the nominees.
>> Marvin is pretty damn upset with those twins. I would love to keep him around in this game purely to see him put them up.
>> Marvin is willing to work for the good of the team, and i do have to give him that.
>> I love will, and i think he's very trustworthy.
>> It's really hard to trust marvin.
>> You don't know what marvin is thinking and that's really not a good point.
>> The thing is with will is he has a huge alliance. By taking one out of a huge alliance is a big factor for me in this game.

Will, the registered nurse from new york city, or marvin, the mortician from south carolina? Tonight's evicted houseguest has an important responsibility. He will be the first member of the jury of seven that chooses the winner of "big brother 5." Let's go wack to the living room and talk with the houseguests. Will, marvin, your fellow house mates will be casting their votes live in just a few moments. I'm now going to give you each a chance to plead your case to everyone. Choose your words carefully because they could determine whether you stay or go. Will, you're first.
>> First of all, julie, I'd like to start by saying to my friends and family watching i want to thank you for your love and support because i feel you daily and it's because of you I've had the drive and determination to make it this far and to all my wonderful and amazing house mates, this has been a truly eye-opening engaging and enlightening experience and whether i leave today or have a few more i just want to say that i will live a more committed life because of what we've shared here. I love that man here and that's all I have to say.
>> That's so night.
>> Julie: All right, marvin, it's your turn.

You must now decide which of these two men will leave the "big brother" house. Just a reminder, when adria reveals her vote, the evicted houseguest will have one minute to say good-bye, gather his belongings and walk out the front door. >> Well, this has been an incredible week, no doubt about it, and would I like to say that with you guys votes today I know both of you guys have created a special asset to this house. As I said before at my nomination, i couldn't choose between any one of then and i can't believe I have to do that now. Would I like to say that the friendship I've endured with both of you guys i hope can i continue on with that from hereforth regardless of what happens in this house and i would also like to say that in conjunction with that that this has been a very tough week and having really not had either one of you guys talk with me, i really don't know what to do so I've tossed a coin in my head and I think that honestly it's going to be a sad day for everybody, and i evict -- choose to evict will from the house today.

>> I just want to say I'm glad you guys weren't put in this position this week because i think the next few weeks just might be better for you guys.

>> I said if karma is a boomerang, i will see you sooner than later. I think she has proven herself to be very untrustworthy and put her true persona out there in the house and we were in a very tight what i thought was a supportive alliance, and when she was up for nomination i really went to bat for her, pled long and hard for her case to stay in the house and then she turned around and not only nominated me for eviction and assured me I would be safe and then has just cast the tie breaker deciding vote and it's just one of those things that like I said now i think people have realized who she is and how untroth worthy she actually is so good luck to her.
>> Julie: When she broke that tie she said she flipped a coin in her head, do you believe that?
>> Not at all. I think she knew if i was in the house she and her sister, i think they have taken themselves to such a low level of game play and they knew i knew that and this was definitely a well thought out move on their part.
>> Julie: Early out in the game the two of you made a promise to each other, a pimg swear, to watch ear other's backs so what happened?
>> Why. It's just one of those things that again I'll probably always and forever be more be mystified. I made a very solemn swear on my life and nakomis did the pinky swear and so did adria and I think she's made several promises she's broken thus far in the game so my only advice to the remaining houseguests is they look at this history that she's had and really take that into account and i think that she will be with me in the sequester house sooner than later like i said.
>> Julie: From the nomination same tote veto salvation army to this everything this week has shocked you, why?
>> I'll tell you what, it's all come out of nowhere because especially for someone like aidia, when they were reveal that had they were the twins and throughout their time in the house when they were nominated for eviction, I've always been there in 100% full support system and it was very hurtful for me to say the reasoning behind it, she wasn't strong enough to say that she made this decision as an individual and said that jesus spoke to her in the mid of the night in the H.O.H. Room and i thought that that was just the saddest thing that it was so ironic that the two minorities in the house were placed on the block. It's all been so much to handle so I leave here honestly a better person having learned a lot about character and about trust and true friendship and I'll go forth with that.
>> Julie: We had your fellow house mates tape good-bye messages to you in the event were you evicted so let's hear what they had to say to you.
>> Okay, great.
>> Will, i hope that you're not watching this tape right now because if you are you're not sitting on my lap here in the "big brother" house where you belong? You've been one of my best friends in the house. You're a straightup guy. I'll tell you what, you've been kind of an inspiration to watch inside the house the way you play the game.

>> No hard feelings, man. It's better for me in the game to try to make the pinky swear alliance smaller.

>> Julie: Welcome back. The fate of the house is in the hands of the head of the household who has the power to nominate two houseguests for eviction. Who will become the new H.O.H.? It's time to find out. Houseguests, the power is up for grabs. Adria, as outgoing head of household, are you not eligible to compete. Tonight's game is called who said it. You've each been given a special cube with the faces of five evicted houseguests. Jase, mike, holly, scott and lori. I'm going to read you a series of statements based on questionnaires they filled out before they entered house. When I say answers please, you'll turn the cube to reveal the face of the evicted houseguest you think made that statement. If you answer incorrectly you will be eliminated. The last player standing will be the new H.O.H. Does everyone understand the rules?
>> Yes, ma'am.
>> All right, good luck, everyone, and let's get started. Who said the comfort item from home they would miss the most is their puppy dog? Answers, please. The correct answer is jase. I'm sorry natalie, sorry, michael. You both got it wrong. Please put up your blue card in front of your card and step to the side and join adria. Who said their bad habit is shopping when they are broke? Answers, please. The correct answer is holly. Everyone got it wrong, everyone stays in the game. Next question, who said they pamper themselves by buying stuff at kmart? Answers, please. The correct answer is mike. Marvin, karen and drew, you've all been eliminated.
