The tone seems happy in the kitchen, and the stress of the Eaters vs. Non Eaters hasn't really started yet. Marvin thinks the competition was fun for the first two hours. Everyone was gunning for one of the Twin's balloons, she thinks. Jase said she came out swinging. Karen is wondering why they have to have grape jelly---why not strawberry? She can make a lot of stuff with strawberry jelly. Will: I don't like grape jelly. Easy for them to say--they are both Eaters. Karen is kind of obsessing about the jelly thing at this point. Probably trying to relate to the Non Eaters. Jase gives his advice on the protein shakes--Scott liked the strawberry flavor, but Jase prefers the chocolate version. Drew and Jase both make their own PBJ sandwiches. Drew still wears his POV necklace. Karen thanks someone for choosing her: That was fun.

polishing off his PBJ sandwich. Now he is sitting in an odd manner, with both feet on the edge of the chair--like he's crouching down on the ground. Except he is in the chair. He can hear the loud antics and friendly laughter in the kitchen. Diane is at the dining table telling Drew he owes her, etc. I think they are teasing about how he will use the veto. Drew: Marvin and I have a deal! I guess the ceremony will have a very dramatic edge--if Drew uses the veto, his buddy Jase will go home. If he doesn't, the 4H nemesis, Marvin, is gone. Or his 'girlfriend' Diane. Should be verrrry interesting.

Marvin is saying that he needs to write a cookbook for future HG regarding how to make meals while on the PBJ diet. Jase: If they have a sixth season, I would think they would change it. and have had issues with the bouncer. Drew: That guy is a di*k. Diane: Is he bald? I know him. He tried to get me to be a pretzel girl there. He's a regular at my casino, so I know him. Drew had a date that was 22, but she didn't have a driver's license. She had a social security card, her birth certificate, and a student ID but the bouncer still threw her out. Drew was really mad, and still seems bitter about this. I think the name of the place is Beer Haus (which would explain the pretzels).

but his license has lapsed. He got the training free through his fire fighting job. (??) He got his license and then went to work at Wal-Mart. Something about this situation bothered his first wife. Diane came in to select an outfit and they briefly discuss the book of Matthew, and the Passion of the Christ. Now we hear Jase talking to Marvin from the hall. His nap didn't last long, I guess.

Marvin reports that Jase still thinks he is safe, and that Drew may not use the veto at all. Marvin likes that, and the idea that it will hit him like a brick wall. Sounds like Drew is planning on using the POV on Diane, but Marvin really did all the talking in that exchange. I never really heard Drew say it. I did see Drew lift up his arm as he left the room and sniff himself. Unfortunately.
