Nakomis thinks they are using a chainsaw to cut down the walls outside. Adria is eating eggs. Nakomis isn't eating breakfast. Adria says "Isn't that the way it is. You reach into the drawer and you always grab the fork you hate". They are listening to the others walk in the walls.
Adria tells Nakomis that on her wedding night she went to bed at 2am, and got up at 4 am because she couldn't sleep. Then after the wedding they had to drive all the way to Atlanta, they had a quick shower becuase she had cake down her dress, they popped the champagne, and then he carried her to the bed and they spilled their champagne because there was no way she was not going to be with him. Nakomis interjects "that's bad luck". One of Adria's friends couldn't find her wedding. Adria says that's funny because she found her friend's church in the middle of the woods, but her friend (who she knew from second grade) couldn't find hers.
She has three close friends, one from gr. 2, one from grade 9, and one from college. Nakomis says she has mainly guy friends.
Marvin is up and in the bathroom shaving. He has shaving cream all over his face.
