Nikomis has a special way to make tortilla shells, Texan style "I'm the albino Mexican" she says. Hee! Cowboy is still over the stove, diligently cooking up some meat. It still needs to simmer he says. It's not quite all ready, but Karen warns him people will be digging in any minute now - he can't stop it. Actually, now he says ten minutes. People obidiently wait. They are out of Diet Coke. They ask BB for more. Diana says he can't drink it - it tastes like sh!t. Hmmm...then we get a brief fishcam! Go figure. They wish they had booze...wine, or 12 or 13 bottles of wine. Will want sangria. Silent Mike is sitting at the table too...being silent. I think that should be his new nickname...like Silent Bob. Cowboy says they have ground turkey as well as the soon to come ground beef. Cowboy "It don't taste that bad." "Way to sell it!" Scott says. Everyone is at the table except for Marvin, who for some reason is in the DR. He was there for two hours earlier in the morning today. Scott (of all frickin' people) is elected to say a blessing. " Small talk over dinner. Silent Mike even chews quietly. "Is this Spanish rice?" Holly asks. No, it's wild rice...Karen put some veggies in. Holly asks what the next meal will be. Salmon is considered. Marvin comes back "I got to see the doctor so I'm straight." He sits down and digs in. Di and Lori really like the ground turkey in the tacos. How she was at one place where she ordered coffee, but there was no creamer and she couldn't get any. So she got up at the mic... "I need creamer...for my coffee...it is black...and I don't like butterflies." She got creamer pretty quick. She says they should have a Big Brother open mic night...just do some poetry and stuff. Will doesn't know if he could come up with anything. She is talking about poetry...how she writes with odd rhyme structures. She has lots of stuff on Poetry.com. She used to write a lot, but has now got out of it. Will says he's actually a good writer, but he just doesn't find the time. Nik says "It just takes so long to write something." Nik: "I have my little thought book, where I'll just rant in it, and sketch..." She talks about how she used to have dreads, and it looked like some person she met with orange hair. How certain photos don't look like the people. They laugh hysterically at the butterfly on Jase's mustard shirt. Scott explains he was wearing a hat before they took his shot, and when he took it off there was a line on his forehead. So they had to powder it over, and that's why he says he looks so pale. Lori also had a lot of Makeup applied. She was pissed at this, but they didn't want her to look shiny. Karen didn't want to smile big. But they went "smile...smile...SMILE!" I wasn't busy transcribing, I just sat back and watched as Will, Lori, and Karen plotted. Talked very intelligently, strategically. They pledged alliegence to each other to the end, considered as a fourth Drew. They are now thinking they can use Holly - that she has no other options of people to turn to. They are all worried about the agressiveness of "A" (as Karen keeps calling Adria) and think that the truly catty side of Diane hasn't truly begun to emerge yet. They are worried about "those three over there" - referring to the two women mentioned, plus Nik - and are turning over option after option in their minds. Maybe trying to take Diana out. Or Adria. No mention of Nik though...really, in this whole convo, the two not really considered as someone to go after are her and Marvin, possibly also Cowboy. Again though, it's clear just by the candid way they are talking that these three are tight, and the subgroup within any "girls" alliance. They figure in the end the three "over there" (Nik, A, D over on the other side of the yard) will go after them in the end. ETA: Jase joined them after a time, and they talked about Scott being in a bad position...not sure that was such a good idea, but there you go. Ugh...too hard to follow all this overthinking...
