what's in it for me? James says "Solidarity." (ed. paraphrasing) James says he doesn't know what kind of deals Ryan has made already, or what deals have been made with Ryan excluded from them. James says Ryan could work with him, that he's a strong ally to have. Ryan says do you think you would have the votes? James says yes, that he would have Sheila. Ryan looks surprised, questioning whether he's sure of that. James trying to reassure him that he does.
James says if he stays when everyone thinks he is leaving, it would shake up two people for sure (presumably Adam and Natalie), but definitely would mess with one person's head (Natalie). James says that would be good for Ryan if he wanted to work with James, since Nat would be rattled for the POV.
Didn't get all of the conversation, but they are talking very quietly and intermittently throughout the chess game, while Natalie, Sheila and Sharon have been in the boat room, and Adam has been upstairs in the HOH. |
