She wanted to confirm that he was putting up Matt. He basically said yes without saying so. She left the room, and he said out loud. "I just lied to you."
He's still talking to himself about it all. He doesn't seem that he liked lying to her, and knows this is going to flip the house upside down.

Chels says that she told him "if you don't put him up the whole house will be gunning for you next week."
She reports that Ryan admitted that Matt's been all over his sh*t today & he feels bad about putting up his boy, but he's not going to go against the entire house (ed which technically he isn't)
