Topic #2407345 fnfish - Janelle just told a really sad story about her best friend from back home 0 Replies #2407345 7:35PM 07/09/2005 Her friend got pregnant right out of high school and had the baby (a boy)and the baby's father left her. She was a single mom and a few yrs later she got pregnant again but because she was too poor she was going to give the baby up for adoption. She left it at the hospital but within the 24 hr period she changed her mind and decided that she absolutely couldn't give up the new baby (a girl). A few days after that, her son, who was 4 yrs old by this time, died in a freak accident with a four wheeler. Janelle was sad talking about it and Ivette is really upset & touched by the story. She sounds genuinely concerned for the friend, asking if she's ok now & stuff. Janelle says her friend was traumatized for a long time and talks about how she misses her friend & wants to visit her after the show. (Janelle mentioned her friends name but I chose to leave that out of the post.) (The happier ending is that her friend is now married and recently had a baby boy). (ed. note: I am going to be seriously disgusted if I read the updates tomorrow and find out that Ivette did more Janelle bashing. April babbles on about her cramps and her needing to pack and hoping she sleeps well tonight and something about needing to pack everything now so no one gets the impression that she thinks she's better than them. April leaves to go check on her clothes in laundry. Maggie asks her what's wrong. Ivette says she's just thinking. Just thinking. I: "Tomorrow is a big day in the big brother house. But the bigger day is the veto day." Maggie says underneath her heavy breathing "Yep" to both statements. (quiet except for Maggie's breathing and the machine as Ivette stares into space leaned against the wall with her arms folded into her chest) Maggie tells her not to think so hard it hurts. She asks if she can help. Ivette says no. Ivette: I just hope everything works out for the best. Maggie half-laughs. Maggie: I think when you play a game like this and get this far I think it's hard to see what's best and what isn't. Maggie says if she gets sent home after she's got this far she'll be heartbroken.
