>> Julie: Good evening. I'm julie chen. welcome to "big brother 5." it's day 42 inside The "big brother" house and with the game at the halfway mark one of the most powerful alliances is fighting to survive. Last week scott, a key member of the four horsemen, was evicted. jennifer, the restaurant Hostess from texas won head of household and quickly put a plan into motion to rid the house of jase, the leader of the four horsemen, and tonight jase, The Volunteer fire fighter from illinois, and marvin, the moretition from south carolina, are both up for eviction. Is jase's stay just about over, or will the plan to get rid of him backfire sending marvin out the door? we'll find out Tonight. First, after winning the golden power of Veto, drew saved diane from eviction paving the way for jase to be put on the chopping block. With this move the remaining members of the four horsemen find their strong bond coming apart.

>> Drew lied to My face several times, and the other night he came up to me and said "dude, i would never use the golden veto.

>> Julie: You seem to have A very difficult week.

>> Julie: You chose to save diane, your bed mate, from eviction, And in her Place your friend jase was put up on the block. How are you feeling about jase possibly facing eviction tonight?
>> Well, julie, it was Definitely a tough week for me, and at the time i made A decision based on some feelings and how great of a cuddle buddy she is for me. Now it's -- the tables have kind of turned and hopefully jase won't be up tonight, but i wish him the best.
>> Julie: Okay. Natalie.
>> H, julie.
>> Julie: Hey there, since last week you've lived in the house not as adria but as yourself. How does it finally feel to have the twin twist out in the open?
>> It feels wonderful and I'm really Excite that had i could actually lift some of these crazy thoughts out of These people's heads of what they thought adria was so it feels good to see natalie in the house and to be me again.
>> Julie: congratulations once Again.
>> Thank you.
>> Julie: michael, last week your fellow Housemate and very close friend scott was everdicted. What is it like with scott gone from the house?
>> Well, julie, i think it's a little bit quiet. it's a little tough, but i Know there will be friendship outside the "big brother" house and I take that for granted and live one day at a time.
>> Julie: Very well. By the way, i like the new look, no hat and No beard.
>> Thank you, ma'am.
>> Julie: All right. thank you, Houseguests. I'll be back a little bit later on. this season we introduced project down, a but last season on "big brother 4" it was all about the "x" factor. Houseguests who surprised to learn they would be living withheir exes, june and ji, Robert and erica and, of course, alison and Justin. whatever happened to these ex-couples? We'll find out next. and later, jase and marvin will learn who is staying in the house And who is going home. Of the ten houseguests, only seven are eligible to vote. nominees, jase and marvin, are not allowed to vote. Neither is the current head of Household jennifer. all votes are cast in secret in the diary room. let's listen in as Michael, drew, natalie and will prepare to vote.
>> To see jase up on the block, it hurts a little bit. He's, you know outgoing, funny. He's an awesome friend to have.
>> Jase is, you know, he stuck up for me Whe he's Around me and then behind my back he'll, you know, he'll talk otherwise.
>> Jase is like a virus. he kind of comes in, corrupts for a while, but, -- but you know you want to Get rid of him.
>> Marvin is a very, very smart strategical player. for that reason you've got to be very careful when you're talking to Marvin.
>> Marvin is very Straightforward type of person. He i very honest.
>> Marvin is playing this game to his ability, and i think it's working for marvin. I do think the four horsemen underestimated marvin. |

June and ji, robert and erica, alison and justin. A year has passed since they all lived under one roof. Now let's see what these Former couples and competitors have been up to.
>> Hi. I'm erica from "big brother 4" coming to you from sunny los angeles. when I came home, i just -- i was -- it was so nice just to be able to take a shower without someone watching me. I don't miss living in the "big brother" house, but i Do miss some of my House mates.
>> We have power right now, jack. I talk to jack all the time And it was probably the best thing that i got from being in the "big brother" house.
>> Julie: Five of you will be soon joined by your Ex-boyfriends or ex-girlfriends.
>> If it wasn't for "big brother" erica and i would never have talked our whole lives. We would have been enemies our whole lives. That's for sure. We are friends now.
>> I don't hold any kind of anger towards robert anymore. I've moved on. I've forgiven him and he's forgiven me. forgiveness is the key to life.

>> I still do not respect Alison for the way she played her game. I never L.I don't keep in touch with alison or june at all. The dream team is still the dream team. It's not the four Horsemen. we stuck by each other. we still do to this day. ji I talk to once a month and justin i talk to three times a week and he'll move out here in a week and he'll Be living with me. I'll see him every Day.

>> "The amazing race" was awesome. I never traveled anywhere Outside the U.S. Before. That was really cool but we didn't do too hot On the race.

>> And it ended up breaking Up our relationship. the only person i talk to from the show is justin.

>> I sent nathan one E-mail after the show saying i was sorry if i Hurt him, if i backstabbed him. he was like, okay, that's great, but we're not going to be friends. I wouldn't take back Anything that I did. I had to lie, i had to manipulate. I had to cheat. I had to do all that stuff. If i wouldn't have done all that, i wouldn't have stayed in that house for so long.

>> I do miss all the houseguests, Obviously some more in particular, you know. I had no idea we were called the three stooges. At first i was offended, like the three stooges, i was, like, god, are we like that.

>> Julie: Congratulations, june. You are the winner of "big brother 4."
>> It's june, reigning champ of "big brother" and I'm Back in new york. This is what i did with my money, bought an apartment in the city, prime real estate, and this is a little shrine to myself. My relationship with jee is Exactly the way it was before the show. There's no contact, And that's how I prefer it. In all honesty there was never a point during the show that I thought i wouldn't win. immediately after the show, i was given some news that my dad Had actually been in a coma. my dad actually passed away a Month ago. You know, the money that i won on the show afforded me a year that i could just take off and not work and Spend whatever time my dad had remaining. I'm really glad that i was able to give him something to brag about once he got up to heaven.
>> We have the same father.
>> The whole michael and jennifer thing going on, i think the first week it really did capture my attention, and i really wanted michael and jennifer to work out.

>> Julie: As head Of household you received pictures from home. For the first Time your brother michael was able to see what his father looked like. What was it like for you to be part of that moment?
>> It was really cool and really, like, a Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be here whenever michael first saw his And my father. in fact, you know, michael was so moved and, You know, so happy about being able to see him i went ahead and on like the first night of me being H.O.H. I went and gave him the picture of me and my Dad so michael has that picture Now.
>> Julie: Would you ever be able to put your brother up for eviction?
>> I personally wouldn't be able to put him up on the block, depending on the Circumstance and, you know, since this is a game, i would be able to vote for him, but i would not put him in the situation to be voted for.
>> Julie: You came up with The plan of the goal of evicting jase. Out of everyone out of the house, why did you target jase?
>> The reason why i targeted jase is He lies, he cheats, he pees on stuff. he's really annoying. he intimidates people. He's -- he plays way, way too strong, and he's just not the type of player that I want to have in the house.

>> I think Those reasons in themselves is why I'm here tonight and I learned to play the game the way no one ever did before. I wanted to go crazy and just off the wall.
>> Julie: We saw that.
>> And obviously it landed me here on the couch, But i had a blast doing it whereas I think some people kind of like, you know, skate through but i wanted to have fun so i think i accomplished that.
>> julie: Your alliance, the Four horsemen, the first alliance to form in the House. you guys had a lot of power and influence over the others. Why did that alliance fall apart so fast?
>> Well, i think that a girl got in the midle Of our alliance, believe it or not. it tends to happen, I guess. Scott, wanted to vote out holly. Well, since hole left. hole is a vote that would have kept scott last week, If he keeps in holly A would have been gone and natalie, there wouldn't have been two of those so I -- the girl came between us, i guess, i guess you could save that.
>> Julie: You saved holly from possible eviction once by using your golden power Of veto. drew did the same thing this Past week. He saved his bed mate diane. what do you think of drew now?
>> I hold no hard feelings towards drew. In the house, you've got someone to cuddle up with at night, even if They don't really like you, it's Great so, yeah, i just -- i would have saved the girl every time, to be perfectly honest. That's a vote for me, right. I thought i had my little crew going. Maybe I picked the wrong team in the beginning but i had a crazy idea and I -- i Ran with it as long ace could.
>> Julie: You were also a Very in-your-face player. you called people out in, particular diane.
>> Right.
>> Julie: Do you wish you had done that differently?
>> Absolutely not. My thinking in this house i was going to call people out, Exploit whatever their secrets they are trying to keep in the house and then i was going to like pull them in closed doors and say no, I was just saying, that my Strategy from the start, no holds bard, that was the Plan.
>> Julie: You said if it came down to you and Michael, your own mother would vote for michael to win the half million dollars over you. why?
>> I'm sure my mom is like, Jase, what are you doing? She wanted me to do the michael rout. Michael is a great guy and i really hope that kid can win the money. He deserves it. he's a great guy and if i could have carried him along to the final four and he Beat me, i would have been just as happy as he won myself.
>> Julie: That's a nice thing to say. In the event were you evicted tonight, your house mates each recorded a special good-bye message to you so let's hear what they had to say.

I was the one that had my team, i drew the line in the sand and i was like let's go with this, take charge and pick them off One at a time. those are the people i wasn't close with. a, i campaigned to get her out, that was my stuff, and drew, he kind of has to go with the majority now so good luck to him, yeah, After seeing drew's thing and the voting, ultimate betrayal. cowboy is the only guy in the house true to his words.
>> Julie: Last week you found out adria had a twin Sister, they are both in the house now. you thought holly had a twin. I can assure you she's the Only holly in the world and she is here to greet you Back with the outside world.

>> I totally had a crush on this girl, absolutely, because it scared me because like what if it's not.

>> We have a lot of things to talk about.

>> Julie: Welcome back. over the past 24 hours the houseguests have been practicing for tonight's H.O.H. Competition, a game that will determine a new head of Household and possibly a power shift in the house.
>> We walked out into the back yard and saw what seemed to be some sort of Shuffleboard activity.
>> You've Got to slide the puck down the plx glass, hit the rubber band and have it come back to you but it can't go past the line you started it at.
>> It's actually not as Easy as it looked, and i think we All tried several techniques. We all tried different throws, different strengths, different thrusts, and there doesn't seem to be one Exact way of getting the puck Closer to the yellow line.
>> Okay.
>> Who wins H.O.H. this week, just to get myself immunity.
>> This week's H.O.H. Is the biggest crucial one, if i want to Stay in the house another week.
>> Looks good.
>> Shrug.
>> The only sure bet you've got to be in here next week is to win the H.O.H. competition.
>> I would like to win H.O.H. I think it would be really nice to see pictures from home.
>> You can't beat it.
>> Julie: In addition to Power, the head of household is given an important responsibility. They must nominate two houseguests for eviction. Who has what it takes to win H.O.H. This week? Let's find out. houseguests, the power is up for grabs. jennifer, as outgoing head Of household you are unable to compete, but you will play a part in this competition. tonight's game is called the puck Stops here because where your puck Lands will determine the new H.O.H. the object of this game is to land your puck entirely in the blue section Closest to the line that separates the two colors. here's how it works. you will slide your Puck down the red alley. your puck has to land entirely in the blue section. If no one's puck lands completely in The blue section the person closest to the line will win head of household and jennifer it is up to you to mark where each Puck lands. You'll do this by using the orange bar. does everyone understand the rules.

>> Julie: Good luck, everyone, and let's get this competition started. adria, you're first. please step up.

>> These people have given me a run for my money every game and being first up, i said there's the marker, these guys will Take me down and i sweated every person so it was a very Good challenge. You guys gave me a run.
>> Julie: Jennifer, any advice for the new H.O.H.?
>> Um, have fun with all Your goodies and don't piss anybody off.
